The Theatre Arts program at Orangewood Christian School provides a variety of rich theatrical opportunities. OCS produces three shows each year, including a middle school production, a high school production, and a production incorporating students from our elementary grades.

During the school day, our students in 6th-12th grade have the opportunity to take both basic and advanced theatre classes. OCS also has a vibrant Thespian troupe, which is where our students learn more about work ethic, professionalism, and how to work together as an ensemble. Thespians are given the opportunity to compete in group and individual events at the district and state levels, where our students routinely receive superior ratings and "Best in Show" awards. Orangewood Christian School is proud to offer a Theatre Arts program that allows students to develop their talents in a Christ-centered environment and fosters spiritual growth alongside artistic development.

OCS Thespians are a part of the International Thespian Society (ITS), an honorary organization that recognizes and rewards excellence among the participants in the theatre arts program. Thespian membership is an honor and should be viewed as a goal to which OCS Theatre Arts students aspire.
