Dr. Tutorino’s clinical experience ensures that patients will have access to a full range of orthopaedic and sports medicine services to help them resume and maintain active and healthy lives. He specializes in sports-related injuries, total hip and knee replacement, total shoulder reconstruction, fracture care and minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery. Dr. Tutorino and the staff at Jewett Orthopedics provide advanced, minimally-invasive surgical techniques, a comprehensive rehabilitation and sports medicine program, and the latest diagnostic imaging services.
AdventHealth Medical Group
Richard Margaitis, DO is board certified in family medicine, neuromuscular medicine and primary care sports medicine. He graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a four-year integrated family medicine and neuromuscular medicine internship and residency at AdventHealth East Orlando followed by a one-year sports medicine fellowship at East Carolina University’s Pitt County Memorial Hospital/Brody School of Medicine in Greenville, N.C.
AdventHealth Sports Medicine and Rehab
Randi Richardson is a sports enthusiast and has a passion for extending the healing ministry of Christ through Physical Therapy. She received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and additional training through a Sports Physical Therapy Residency. The Sports residency allowed her to work alongside orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, and experienced physical therapy specialist. During her residency, Randi treated recreational, high school, collegiate and professional athletes to become a Board Certified Sports Clinical Specialist. Randi is actively involved in staying current with the latest physical therapy research and serves as a faculty/mentor for Advent Health's Orthopedic Physical Therapy Residency in order to help other young professional refine their skills. As a former collegiate athlete, she identifies with the urgency of her all her patients to return to their sport/activity at a competitive level.
AdventHealth Sports Concussion Program
Michael Dougherty, ATC has been a certified athletic trainer since 1991. He graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training with a specialization in Sports Medicine. He has been instrumental in helping build AdventHealth’s Concussion Program since 2004 and has helped to develop evidence based standards of care for concussion patients. He carries out baseline concussion testing of athletes for 27 high schools in Central Florida and helps to implement education strategies to coaches and parents through clinics, meeting, and other arenas.
