Bruce Holmes

Chairman

Bruce is the proud father of six children, three who are grown and are parents, two that are Orangewood Alumni and one who is an Orangewood student.  He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Civil Engineering.  Following graduation, Bruce returned home to Central Florida and has worked in the construction industry his entire career, currently serving as the President of WELBRO Building Corporation.

Robert Stephens

Robert and his wife, Lenore, met at Orangewood Church where they were married in 1999. Their three daughters (Jacqueline, Noelle, and Robyn) have attended OCS since pre-K, with each of them heavily involved in athletics and fine arts. Lenore graduated from Covenant College with a degree in Business and has enjoyed volunteering and coaching youth volleyball at OCS while also working part-time. Robert graduated from Western Michigan University, has coached girls’ basketball at OCS, and is founder of Story Impact Media, which specializes in brand storytelling.

 



 

Wendy Evans

Wendy Evans is a Senior Manager with Lockheed Martin’s Ethics and Enterprise Assurance organization.  Wendy supports Ethics Core Programs and Services, including ethics officer training, resource development and case management.  Wendy also conducts special investigations on behalf of the Senior Vice President for Ethics and Enterprise Assurance (EEA) and the Vice President of Ethics and Business Conduct (E&BC) at Corporate.  Wendy’s career began in law enforcement as a police officer in Louisville, Kentucky.  She joined the FBI eight years later, assigned to the Tampa Division (Orlando RA), where she specialized in both white-collar crime and counterintelligence.   She joined Lockheed Martin in 2006 as a Security Manager and became part of the Ethics organization in 2010.Wendy is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud examiners.  She is also a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP) with the Society of Corporate Ethics and Compliance, serving as an instructor for SCCE virtual academies. Wendy is a member of the Ethics and Compliance Initiative (ECI), as well as other professional organizations.  Wendy has been a featured national speaker on ethics, compliance, security and investigative topics.  Wendy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government Studies and Communications (Broadcasting) from Western Kentucky University and has completed two post-graduate MBA courses at Keller Graduate School. Wendy and her husband, Doug, have a daughter, Callie, who is a senior (lifer) at Orangewood Christian School.  Their son, Ethan, graduated from OCS in 2018.


 

Dr. Tim Ulmer

Tim currently works as the Executive Director of HealthCare Support Staffing. Prior to joining the staffing firm in 2017, Tim devoted 20 years to K-12 education, where he was a teacher, psychologist, school and district administrator and school improvement consultant. Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Northern Colorado. Tim and his wife Amy were married in 2000 and have 5 children. Tim’s children attended MCP and his two oldest are students at Orangewood High School. The Ulmer family have been members of Orangewood Church since 2014 and reside in Maitland. 



Jim Miller

Jim has been happily married to his wife, Elizabeth, for 40 years. She is a retired elementary teacher as well as a high school guidance associate at OCS. She currently serves on the board of MCP. The Millers have two married children who graduated from OCS. They are blessed to have two grandchildren; their grandson started kindergarten at OCS in 2020.

The Millers are originally from NJ, where Jim attended William Paterson University. They relocated to Central Florida 22 years ago. They are long-time members of Orangewood Church. Jim is an elder and currently serves on the Governing Commission at Orangewood.

Jim is a retired business executive having worked at Ecolab, International for 35 years. He currently works with the PCA’s Mission to the World as a Senior Partner Relations Officer.
