Selecting the best school for your child is an important decision, and we are honored that you are considering Orangewood for a Christ-centered education for your child.

Academic excellence is our first and foremost goal for your child and is at the core of our college preparation. Your student will be challenged and mentored by knowledgeable faculty through a variety of classes and curriculum. Orangewood strives to provide each student with a unique schedule that will focus on their individual God-given gifts and talents.

We offer a variety of ways for prospective families to experience Orangewood Christian School and see our school in action.

Admissions CRITERIA

One parent or guardian is a professing believer of Jesus Christ and agree with the school's statement of faith. If the other parent is not a professing follower of Christ, he or she understands, accepts, and supports the school's Christian philosophy of education.

One parent actively participates in a local Christian Church.

Orangewood Christian School represents over 110 different churches in the Central Florida Community.

Orangewood believes that God has uniquely gifted each child.  We admit students to the Orangewood community who are willing to strive for academic success, to grow in their faith, and to serve in the community and beyond. 

We use the following guidelines for enrollment:

Lower School (Grades K-6), report cards must show grade level or above performance across all subjects.

Upper School (Grades 7-12) must provide transcripts for evaluation. Cumulative and current GPA must be 2.0 ( C ) or above in academic courses. 

Orangewood placement test scores must be average or above.

Teacher evaluations and report cards must show that the student is an independent learner and has the ability to be successful in a traditional classroom environment.

Orangewood does not accept incoming seniors for the second semester.

Students and parents must be in good standing with current school.

Teacher evaluations and report card behavioral marks must be favorable.

Families who previously withdrew from Orangewood and did not fulfill their tuition contract must clear all financial obligations before an admissions application will be accepted.

All financial obligations to Orangewood must be kept current.
