Service
Hero
Serving others is the heart of who we are
On Serve Day, Orangewood students, faculty & staff are living out this mission of service at 20 different city locations. From painting, picking up trash, spending time with memory care residents, sorting soap and food and clothes, pulling weeds & hauling lumber.
The Bible teaches that: God has given every human being a gift, or talent, to use for His purpose. “As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace” ( 1 Peter 4:10 ). God wants us use these gifts to help others and glorify Jesus Christ, not ourselves.
