Congratulations Girls JV Cross Country Team!

With the Middle School Cross Country season over, Coach Lynn invited several of our Middle School girls to run with one of our JV Cross Country teams. The results have been terrific!

At the West Orange meet on October 3 our JV girls team, made up of Amelia Baker (7th), Isabel Baker (7th), Whitney Gibson (6th), Emma McCully (6th), and Angela Rodriguez (7th) placed first overall. This meet included large local public schools, such as West Orange, Winter Park, and Boone!

At the Lake Minneola Hawk Invitational Cross Country meet on Saturday, October 17, the JV girl runners were Isabel Baker, Amelia Baker, Emma McCully, as well as Harper Shumway (6th) and Kate Ulmer (11th). This group placed first overall and scored a perfect score of 15 as a team!

All of these girls will run in the Florida Youth Cross Country Championship this Saturday, October 24, and then will go on to compete in Districts (against High School runners) on Tuesday, October 27.

All of these girls are ranked in the top 50 runners in the entire state of Florida! The future of OCS Cross Country is looking strong!

Yearbooks for Middle School Students

ALL Middle School students will receive a yearbook this year, as it is included in the annual Activity Fee.  There is no need to place a separate order for your Middle School student.
