Volunteer
Volunteers play an important role in Orangewood's education
Not only are they a great resource for faculty and staff, but they serve as a solid support to the school community.
Volunteer at OCS
Throughout the year, there are many ways for OCS parents and grandparents to volunteer their time to support the wonderful work of the school, such as:
- Serving as lower school room parent
- Serving as upper school grade-level parent
- Chaperoning a student trip
- Serving at special student gatherings
- Helping to plan Orangewood's annual gala
- Selling tickets at a game or play
- Assisting with coaching a team
- Guest speaking in a class
- Serving on a parent-led committee
- Working in our lower school's book fair

A decade ago,she and her family relocated to Orlando, where she became very involved in her children's preschool community by volunteering and serving on the advisory board. As her children began attending Orangewood, she has continued to serve for many years, and currently holds the position of PTF President at Orangewood. She and her husband, David, are active members of Grace Church in Maitland. They have three children at Orangewood: Forrest, Ava, and Oliver. Additionally, they also have a son, Garrison, who resides in Kansas City with his fiancée, Lacey, and their daughter, Oakleigh.
