Posted: 05-Dec-2011 Catagory: Drama, Fine Arts, OCS-Fine Arts
Sixteen OCS students attended District V Thespian competition on Saturday, December 3rd at Dr. Phillips High School. Our district includes all the schools in Orange County. Superior is the highest rating you can achieve, followed by Excellent, Good, Fair and Poor.
Jennifer Moore received the "Best of Show" honors for both Costume Design and Costume Construction! This means she was the top student out of all who entered in each of those categories. On top of that, she also received the highest Tech Event award of Critic’s Choice in the Technical category. Jennifer was the top pick out of all Technical events for the District, including Set Design, Publicity, Costume Design and Costume Construction. Jennifer designed 5 costumes of characters from The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde and constructed a dress out of one of those designs. Way to go Jennifer!!!
