4th Grade Visits Corn Maze
Posted: 18-Nov-2011 Catagory: Lower School
Orangewood's fourth grade classes visited the Long-Scott farm and had the opportunity to experience a corn maze adventure. The theme for this year was “Renewable Energy.” The children answered questions, found pictures, discovered the secret word, and found their way out of the maze. The chaperones were very encouraging in helping each student finish the maze, and everyone did a great job!
The students also enjoyed the big slide, the zip line, the bouncing pillow, and going on a hayride. They learned about the crops that are grown on the farm.
The children enjoyed a fun day with their classmates and delicious desserts (baked by OCS moms) to honor Thanksgiving.
