Virtual Book Club – 7th grade

Students select a book of the month and share insights and critiques. Using an educational website called Collaborize Classroom, students respond to a wide variety of online prompts as they interact with other classmates within the Collaborize structure.  Students meet for lunch twice a month--once at the midway point and once as a culminating celebration. New selections are suggested at the celebration, and the final choice for the next book is made by the members by way of a virtual survey form.
