St. Augustine Meeting RESCHEDULED | Tuesday, October 24

Eighth grade families interested in learning more about the St. Augustine overnight field trip are invited to join Mr. Austin, Mr. Mitchell and Mrs. Hansen on Tuesday, October 24, at 6:00pm in HS 260/261.

7th Grade Town Hall Gathering RESCHEDULED | Monday, October 30

Seventh grade families - please save Monday, October 30 on your calendar as the NEW DATE for the 7th Grade Town Hall Gathering at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall!  This evening has been set aside so that you can hear from Administrators and teachers but the majority of the time will be spent addressing YOUR questions and comments about how your student's school year is going!  Look for a Sign-Up Genius soon to RSVP; light refreshments will be served.

Middle School Athletes of the Month | October 2017

Congratulations to the following students who have been recognized as our Middle School Athletes of the Month for October:

 

Middle School Football:

Jackson Bennett - Jackson is a team leader when it comes to bringing positive energy and maximum effort to every practice and every game! Over the last 2 games, Jackson has 5 receptions for 86 yards and 2 touchdowns. In these two games, he has also had 10 tackles and 1 interception on the defensive side of the ball.

 

Riley Willis - Riley is an extremely hard worker, and it has been awesome to watch his growth this year. He is a major contributor on both sides of the football. Over the last two games, Riley has accumulated 55 rushing yards 60 receiving yards. Defensively, he has racked up 7 tackles, including 2 tackles for loss.

 

7th Grade Volleyball:
Jenna Euliano- Jenna has excelled tremendously throughout the season and has become a key player on our team. Jenna's defense has been exceptional and has helped lead us to some major victories. Jenna's enthusiasm and motivation is truly remarkable.

 

Ann Marie Herman- Ann Marie is one of our captains for the team and she truly is an amazing leader on and off the court. Her all around court awareness and hard work ethic is incredible. Ann Marie does everything she possibly can to help her team get a victory every time she steps out onto the court....she is the ultimate team player. Her skills and positive attitude have contributed in a major way to the successful season our team had.

 

Middle School Cross Country:

In our second meet of the season, 8th grader, Noah Butterstein took 1st Place with a time of 13:20.38. This is Noah's first year of cross country and his hard work and determination are paying off!

 

Chick-Fil-A Calendars Available
Help support the Class of 2019 by purchasing a Chick-Fil-A calendar! $8.00 each or 4 for $30. Calendars will be available in the main office and athletic events. You can also order by filling out this form and dropping it off at any of the school offices.

 

PTF Needs Your Help!

Orangewood Christian School PTF is looking for parents to help celebrate our staff on their birthdays or ½ birthdays. If a birthday has passed and you would like to still celebrate that staff member please contact them as soon as possible to let them know you will be celebrating their special day on their ½ birthday.
