National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta & Thespian Induction Ceremony

Flu Shot | Monday, September 30

OCS PTF and the 10th grade class are making flu shots & vaccines available on campus again this year - Monday, September 30th from 7:15am - 8:15am.

Flu Shots &vaccines will also be available at the Lower Campus on Friday, September 27th from 7:15am - 8:30am.

OCS 'PINKTOBER' Shirts for Sale | LINK 

In October, we will being having our PINK OUT DAY at Orangewood and would love everyone to participate!  The Junior class will be selling shirts in support of PINK OUT DAY!  We invite ALL students, parents and faculty to purchase this high quality shirt to show their support!

NHS Tutoring Center 

The National Honor Society tutoring center is open every Tuesday and Thursday from 2:45pm to 4:00pm.  The tutoring center will not be open on days when there is no school or when there is a half day. The center is located in Mr. Lawrence's room,153.

Service Hours Requirements and Form | Link

If your student logged service hours during the summer, please have them complete the form in order to get credit for them.

Please make note that the community service hours have increased to more closely align with the Florida state requirement for the Bright Futures Scholarship.



We LOVE parent volunteers!  Please contact the High School Office or Michelle Denney via email at mdenney6@gmail.com  for ways to help and get plugged in.

In order to volunteer at Orangewood, you must be fingerprinted and have a background check completed. See link for instructions.  


Moms in Prayer | Every Tuesday | Conference Room 

Please join our Moms in Prayer to pray for our children and school every Tuesday morning from 8:00-9:00am.

"Pour out your heart like water before the face of the Lord. Lift up your hands to Him for the lives of your children." Lamentations 2:19


Do I need to sign up every week? No, please attend whenever you are available.
Do I have to pray out loud? No
How is the prayer time run? We have a list of prayer requests. We follow the "ACTS" pattern - Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, and Supplication (Intercession).
