Summer Information

We hope that you are having a wonderful summer. The high school administrative staff is busy planning for our 2018-2019 school year. The following is a list of important documents and information we would like to share with you regarding the upcoming school year. All documents in this communication are also available to view and print from RenWeb under Resource Documents.

Instead of being billed separately for field trips, activities, yearbooks, etc., we have combined these individual charges into one total fee. There may be a few exceptions for activities that will be outside this fee such as Grad Night for seniors. Your account will be billed ½ of the total fee in September and ½ in October.

Please be sure that hair is within dress code guidelines for the first day of school.
Quarter zip pullovers will qualify as a collared shirt as long as the collar is folded down and a t-shirt is worn underneath for appropriate coverage.
Collared shirts and outerwear should not advertise or endorse any high school other than Orangewood Christian School.

Important Bright Futures Update for Seniors:
The Florida Department of Education is now requiring that private school students send their SAT or ACT scores to one of the Florida public colleges or universities. This is the only way Bright Futures will have access to the scores. This means if you have only applied to a private school or out of state school you must also send your score(s) to a Florida public school, even if you don’t intend to apply.

Please contact Ms. Mishkin if you have questions or need further clarification. LMishkin@ocsrams.org
