A Message from OCS High School Principal
Orangewood Christian High School offers students the opportunity to be part of a unique community of students, teachers, and staff in which they can discover and develop the gifts and talents that God has given them. Students are offered big school experiences, opportunities, and resources in a small school setting. Each student is known as an individual and has an opportunity to interact closely with teachers in the classroom setting and outside of the classroom as well. Orangewood is more than just rigorous academics and competitive athletics. It is our prayer that during a student’s tenure here that they will capture and embrace their individual passions and gifts and then use them to impact our world for the Kingdom of God.

Guidance

A Message from the Director of Guidance
Orangewood Christian School's Guidance Department employs three full time counselors and one part time registrar, with a combined total of over fifty-four years of experience in the education field. Each of our counselors has earned a master's degree in counseling along with being state certificated in guidance. Once a month, our counselors meet with guidance and college counseling staff at other local area private schools for professional development as part of the Central Florida Consortium of Private School Counselors.
Jennifer Sterling
As image bearers of our Lord and Creator, we recognize the fact that He has given each of us abilities and gifts that are unique to us as individuals. By providing individualized support and direction, the guidance staff hopes to strengthen and encourage each student to gain a clear understanding of God's will for his or her life. Personal, academic, college and career counseling will equip your student to make positive choices during his or her high school years and as he or she transitions into college.
Our office registers and schedules students for classes, monitors state and OCS graduation requirements, oversees grades, report cards and transcripts and provides counseling for crisis intervention, social and personal issues. In the area of college and career counseling, we provide support, direction and encouragement to students and parents throughout the college search and application process. Below are links to resources and college planning used in the college decision process.
