My heart is stirred by a noble theme as I recite my verses for the king; my tongue is the pen of a skillful writer. – Psalm 45:1

The Theatre Arts program at Orangewood Christian School gives all types of students rich and varied theatrical opportunities, both performance and technical. OCS produces three to four plays and musicals each year, including a middle school production, a high school production, and an all-school production incorporating students from Kindergarten through 12th grade.

During the school day, our students in 6th-12th grade have the opportunity to take both basic and advanced theatre classes. Our Thespians and Junior Thespians troupes also allow our 6th-12th graders to compete in group and individual events at the district and state levels, where our students routinely receive Superior ratings. There are also various service opportunities for our OCS theatre students and Thespians, such as performing for senior citizens at assisted living communities, holding donation drives for local food banks, and more.

Orangewood Christian School is proud to offer a Theatre Arts program that allows students to develop their talents in a Christ-centered environment and fosters spiritual growth alongside artistic development.
