Meet the OCS School Committee!
Bruce Holmes is the chairman of the Orangewood school committee. He is also the proud father of six children, three who are grown and are parents and the remaining three who are Orangewood students. He graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a degree in Civil Engineering. Following graduation, Bruce returned home to Central Florida and has worked in the construction industry his entire career currently serving as the President of WELBRO Building Corporation.
Scott Brown has been a member of Orangewood for 7 years. He has served as an Elder and School Committee member for the past 2 years. Scott's wife Christine serves in women's ministry and their 4 children have all attended Orangewood Christian school and Maitland Community Preschool. When Scott is not playing with his kids, doing church work or a project for his wife, he practices Architecture to earn a living.
Don Langmo also serves as an elder at Orangewood Church in addition to serving on the school committee. He has 6 children, 4 of which are enrolled at OCS. Don is the CEO of Healthcare Scouts and Healthcare Support Staffing, healthcare recruiting and staffing firms. He is a graduate of Clemson University and University of Florida where he earned his Master's of Business degree. He and his wife Diane live in Maitland FL.
Ellen Megginson has served on the OCS School Committee since 2011. She and her husband have two children who have each attended Orangewood Christian School since Pre-K. Their son is in 7th grade and their daughter is in 5th grade. The family has been members of Orangewood Church, PCA since 2006 and live in Altamonte Springs. Ellen is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Winter Park.

Nick is a member of the Florida Bar, a voting member of The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences (Home to The GRAMMYs), a member of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (Home to the EMMYs), The National Academy of Best-Selling Authors, and serves on the Innovation Board of the XPRIZE Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing about “radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity” through incentivized competition, best known for it’s Ansari XPRIZE which incentivized the first private space flight and was the catalyst for Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic. Nick spends his spare time serving as an Elder at Orangewood Church, working with Young Life, Downtown Credo Orlando, Entrepreneurs International and rooting for the Florida Gators with his wife Kristina and their three children, Brock, Bowen and Addison.
Lionel Rubio has been a member of Orangewood Church, PCA since 2005 and lives in Altamonte Springs. He and his wife, Patty, have a son who has attended Orangewood Christian School since kindergarten. Lionel, a former shareholder with the law firm of Winderweedle, Haines, Ward & Woodman, P.A., practiced law for 15 years, primarily in the areas of land use and local government law including serving as City Attorney and Assistant City Attorney for various municipalities. He currently serves as Chief Operating Officer/Chief Compliance Officer for Ironclad Investments, LLC. He has previously served on the boards of the Winter Park Day Nursery and the Winter Park History Museum. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida (BSBA-Finance), University of Florida (MA—Real Estate and Urban Analysis), and Florida State University (JD-Law).
Allyn Williams has served on the OCS school committee since 2013. He and his wife, Shannon, have two children who attend Orangewood Christian School. Their family have been members of Orangewood Church, PCA since 2013. Serving as Orangewood's Executive Director, Allyn helps to lead the strategic direction and organizational alignment between Orangewood Church, Orangewood Christian School, Maitland Community Preschool and its respective ministries. Allyn collaborates with the church and the school leaders to help maximize performance, develop progressive objectives and maintain standards of excellence while extending Orangewood and all of its functions further into the community. Orangewood’s Head of School, Preschool Director, and church staff report to Allyn gaining his leadership, support, and advocacy. Allyn is a graduate of the University of Alabama (BSBA-Leadership), and Saint Joseph’s University (MS-OD).
Sherri Walls is a Human Resources (HR) professional specializing in small to medium sized technical firms. She began her career in engineering planning at The Boeing Company and before leaving Boeing was a Senior Manager in Human Resources. Later, at Sawtek, Inc., a microelectronics company, Ms. Walls was the Manager over all HR functions while the company grew from a privately held business with 120 employees to a publicly traded multinational corporation that eventually merged with TriQuint Semiconductor, Inc. She managed Human Resources for Sawtek/TriQuint ten years before leaving to become an independent HR consultant most currently working with EnRep, Inc. Ms. Walls graduated with a BS in Business Administration, and MBA with a focus on Human Resources from the University of Central Florida.
Deborah Crespo and her family have been a part of the Orangewood Family for over a decade. In 2005, the Lord led Deborah & her husband, Freddie to leave Southern California and relocate to Central Florida. Upon their arrival, they settled in Lake Mary and opened their businesses, Investors Real Estate and IRE Management and Maintenance Services. Deborah is the proud mother of four fabulous children who are all students at Orangewood Christian School. She is an active member at Orangewood Church where she loves to serve along with her husband who is a deacon. The Crespo Family just recently moved to Altamonte Springs to be closer to school and church and look forward to the new community and its opportunities.
Christine Kuzmick is married to her husband Rick, and have two children, a 7th and 8th grader at OCS. Both of her children started OCS in the 1st grade. Her family attends Northland Church, which is in her backyard in Longwood. She currently is a middle school coordinator at OCS. She has enjoyed serving in numerous activities at OCS over the past 7 years. Her family owns and operates an Electrical Contracting Business that she once helped operate until she and her husband decided that it was time to stay home and be a full-time mom. Her desire and hope is to serve on the OCS board and to help families love the OCS experience as much as her family has. Her family has developed lifelong relationships with many of the teachers and staff members as well as other parents, and her desire is to help all OCS families enjoy the same experience.
Daniel Parke is married to Jamie Parke and they are both Class of ’93 alumni from OCS. They have 3 children Gabriel, Zachery and daughter Jordan. The entire Parke family is very involved in the sports programs at Orangewood and reside in Sanford. Jamie is a graduate from Liberty University with a degree in Interior Design and is currently a full-time mother. Daniel received his undergraduate degree from Rollins College and a Master’s Degree in Business from Crummer Graduate School; he is the President of Modelwerks, Inc. in Orlando.
