Orangewood Continues to Grow!

        A 60,000 square foot expansion for Orangewood Presbyterian Church and Orangewood Christian School at the Maitland Boulevard campus is now underway and expected to be completed for the 2008-2009 school year.  

The new two-story 50,000 square foot education building to the east of our existing building will include facilities to accommodate high school students with four state-of the-art science labs, a media center, 24 classrooms, and a 10 room Children’s Ministry addition for Orangewood Presbyterian Church.

On the west side there will be a two-story expansion of approximately 10,000 square feet. The first floor will be the new athletic center which will include a weight room and locker rooms.  The second floor will be the home of Orangewood Presbyterian Church’s student ministry.

The existing building will be renovated to have a new cafeteria/kitchen and separate choir, band, art and drama rooms for Orangewood Christian School and a new Children’s Church area for Orangewood Presbyterian Church.

            Orangewood has experienced unprecedented growth.  In order to meet the community’s needs, we are expanding our facilities to accommodate families that choose our school for its strong Christian community and its superior academics, fine arts, and athletic programs.
